What’s the deal with Mark Cuban crying? Boo freaking hoo. Is he really that emotional? Likely it’s that he’s upset with the Mavs being ousted by 8th seed Golden State. If his court-side antics haven’t turned you off already, surely this display of sniffle-snaffle will. Somebody hurry up and make this milquetoast an Edmonton Oiler. It’s really tough to blame the guy who carried the Canucks into the second round for their Game 5 elimination at the hands of the Mighty Ducks. However, it’s an excellent illustration of the intensity of the playoffs. One blunder, one lapse in judgment can cost your team their shot at the Stanley Cup.

The Sect of Homokaasu has certified False Gods as 46% evil. After I added the link, we were only 34% evil, so there may be a bias at play. I was a little afraid to post this, since I may bring some occultish, Children of the Corn-type wrath down upon us, but what the hey. Is a slow day on the Internets.

I’m reluctant to sound the death knell for the Canucks after Tuesday’s 3-2 overtime loss to Anaheim, but I can’t see how this team is going to be able to come back from a 3-1 series deficit.
