Raycroft spills his guts.

To fill an impending hole between the pipes in Toronto this upcoming season, the Maple Leafs have traded the rights to Finnish goaltending prospect Tuukka Rask to the Boston Bruins for questionable number one, Andrew Raycroft. In light of this recent move, it is likely Toronto is looking to buy out the final year in Ed Belfour’s contract.

For his part, Raycroft had this to say about his impending stint in Hog Town: “I’ll try my best, work hard, and things will fall into place”.

Well said, Andrew.

Bertuzzi to Florida

Oh Lordy, Lordy. Nonis finally pulls his thumb out and makes the much anticipated trade. In case you live in a hole, Vancouver Canucks GM Dave Nonis unloaded Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan Allen and Alex Auld to the Florida Panthers for Roberto Luongo and defenceman Lukas Krajicek plus a 6th round kick at the Alpo.
